VISUAL STORYTELLER WITH WORDS AND IMAGES

Sam Mandragona

Crafting stories that explore the depths of human connection, ambition, and the moments that define us. From feature films to intimate theatrical works, every script begins with a question worth asking. Every creative vision is a compelling design to support the written word.

The Craft Behind the Words

Sam Mandragona is a screenwriter and storyteller whose work spans feature films, television, and theatrical narratives. His writing gravitates toward stories of transformation—characters caught at crossroads between who they are and who they might become.

A Quarterfinalist recognition for an earlier draft of FOURTEEN MINUTES in the prestigious American Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition marked an early milestone in his screenwriting career. The screenplay has since undergone substantial revision and redevelopment. His work has expanded across original feature screenplays, television pilots, adaptations of true stories, character-driven dramas and comedies, and original intellectual property developed through story, character, concept design and visual development.

Whether exploring an aging artist's final chance at reclaiming his legacy, an ancient world hidden beneath the ocean, or five Jersey women challenging the traditions of a family criminal enterprise, Sam's stories find the universal in the specific—the characters, relationships and choices that reveal who people are and who they might become.
