FOURTEEN MINUTES is a character-driven feature drama about John Caton, a mercurial, reclusive painter whose abandoned artistic legacy is challenged when he reluctantly takes on Justine, a fiercely talented young apprentice. Their relationship forces John to confront the choices and secrets that shaped his life, while Justine struggles to establish an artistic identity of her own.
An earlier draft was a Quarterfinalist in the prestigious American Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition. The screenplay has since undergone substantial redevelopment and revision, exploring artistic identity, mentorship, legacy and the complicated relationship between an artist and the person who may carry his work forward.
